ChilliPeeps 3 in 1 teats and spouts

The Weekend just gone me and my partner went to The Baby Show, Excel, London. This was the second time we have been and we loved it!

We are always on the look out for new and exciting things to try for Charlie and Ella.


Walking around the show we came across, a small stand, with only two ladies and a small display of products call ChilliPeeps. A few people were gathered around and we popped over for a nose!

After a few minutes one of the ladies asked us if we would like a demonstration, and out came a small gadget to make feeding out and about a lot easier.
The gadget has a teat (or spout depending one age) on one end and then different attachments which unscrew on the other.

The attachments on the end can then be added to ready made formula cartons/bottles or bottles of water.

Now I have always been told that babies cannot drink water which has not been pre boiled, but I have since learnt that the 3 main bottle water suppliers - Volvic, highland spring and Evian are perfectly safe. Which is great to know.


Normally when out and about I would buy a formula carton and pour it into a sterile bottle, which is a lot of fussing and a right nuisance if you have run out of bottles, but with ChilliPeeps I can just let Ella drink straight out the bottle or carton. How easy is that!


We purchased these at a special offer of 2 for £10 at the show and bought one spout and one teat for Ella when she is older. But retail at £6.50 on the website which is still a bargain!!

REVIEW - OXO TOTS

So the time has come to wean my little girl Ella, she is 20 weeks today and I was going to hold off to the recommended age of 6 months, but she is constantly hungry.

Today was the perfect time to start as my little boy Charlie is at pre school for the whole day and it really does give me time to spend with Ella and give her the attention she needs.

Weaning is such a big step for any parent, to go from making bottles of formula or breastfeeding to adding meals does make it all a little bit more complicated to start.

Over the past few weeks I have been stocking up on different types of puree in pouches everytime I go shopping. With Charlie I blended everything from scratch, but now having a toddler around the house, my time is taken up with him.

I have also been on the look out for weaning equipment, Ella needed everything from scratch as most of Charlies equipment was well used or stained.

When I was kindly sent a divided feeding dish and soft silicone feeding spoons from OXO I couldnt wait to try them out. I dont think you know how exciting little things like this are until you have babies!!

OXO is well known for its cooking, household and office tools, and also their baby and toddler products, they do everything from bowls, cutlery, storage and cups. All come in a gorgeous green, boyish blue and girly pink.

The divided feeding dish is great, I have never used a divided dish and as I have only just started weaning Ella I only used one side, but can imagine when shes eating little meals it will be nice to have them separated. Each side is big enough to contain 2.5oz of food which is plenty enough to feed little tums.

The bowl is designed for easy use to hold, and the lid comes in two parts, one is used as a ring to remove excess food of the spoon and the other is the lid for storage.

The bowl is also microwavable, and dishwasher safe! perfect for us busy mummies.

The spoons come in packs of two, and have a silicone coating which is nice and gentle on the babies gums, especially if they are teething. The spoons are shallow enough to put a tiny bit of puree on and easy to use with the long handle. Ella enjoyed sucking off the spoon, it seemed alot easier than using the normal plastic weaning spoons which seem to make such a mess. As you can see she loved her first taste, and hardly any mess.

OXO is not normally a brand I would choose for baby items, but I am very impressed with the quality of the items. I will continue to use the dish and spoons and will last her for quite sometime into her toddler years. I love the look of the sippy cups and cutlery for Charlie, may have to invest in some soon!

REVIEW - Kiddylicious Snacks

My little boy is constantly snacking, and in our household we try to limit the amount of biscuits and crisps we keep in. Hes always loved his fruit, but sometimes there is only a certain amount of fruit you can give him.

So i am always on the look out for new and exiting things he can try, hes not really a fussy eater and will eat everything and anything.

Kiddylicious is a brand ive seen around alot but we have never tried them.

As soon as my little boy saw me open the big box kiddylicious sent us to try he couldnt get his hands in fast enough! He automatically presumed they were sweets, which is great! he feels like hes having sweets, but mummy knows hes having a healthy alternative. We were given a variety of the 12 months plus snacks as he is 3.

The strawberry fruit wriggles were his favorite, a little bit like strawberry laces, but one of his 5 a day!! they unbelievably contain 91% apple juice and 6% strawberry puree. They didnt last long and we re gone within minutes. The wriggles also come in tropical and apple flavour. yum!

 The handy little snack size packs are great to take out and about, we took a packet to soft play as a sweet treat.

We then tried a pack from the smoothie melt range - these were strawberry and banana, now these are different, they literally melt in your mouth in seconds. I liked them, but Charlie didnt like how they went so soft and quickly got rid of it in my hand! Its a shame he wasnt keen as they are 100% fruit. 85% banana and 15% strawberry.

But hey, I ate the whole packet and a pretty healthy 

snack for me as well

These also come in blackcurrant and apple. and banana, mango and passion fruit.

The raspberry crispie tiddlers were fun, little fish shaped snacks which Charlie loved. They also include small amounts of puffed rice which made them a little bit crunchy. They were really fruity and really tasty!

Kiddylicious have also created jelly and fruit pots, fruity puffs, raisins, wafers and crisps. Everything you need to give your toddler a healthy snack. At least with these you know exactly whats in them, they contain no added sugar and salt, no preservatives, no milk or lactose (so great with those with dairy intolerance) no nuts, seeds, wheat or gluten.

I will be stocking up with these for snacks and especially great for picnics!

REVIEW - Miraclesuit Swimsuit

Ok, so most of us hate stripping down to underwear, let lone put a swimsuit on and go swimming in front of plenty to see. I have always had a great bikini body in my early 20's but since having 2 children, the weight has piled on, and i would describe myself as 'flabby'

I knew the time was eventually going to come that i was going to have to take my little girl swimming as she hasnt been, but that fear comes through your head, ahhh swimsuit!!!

But after hearing about the miraclesuit swimsuit i couldnt wait to try it on.

I am normally a size 12 in clothes, and this was a size 12 swimsuit and when i held it up to myself it looked much smaller! I never thought i would get it on. And yes i would say it was quite tight to put on and pull up but once on it held everything in place like it should do.

The swimsuit has a nice soft full cup coverage, this is great if you are worried about it being revealing while swimming, or in my case my little one pulling the top down, and the tummy area has ruched fabric and a tummy panel which holds your tummy in.

Well it did exactly what it should do, I put on the swimming costume and automatically felt thinner. Every thing felt tucked in and secure. And i actually felt confident in a swimming costume. Stood looking from the side my tummy had disappeared....perfect!

Its not normally a style i would go for, but i think the comfort is more important than the look! especially now i am a mummy!

The swimsuit retails at £139 which does sound expensive but you are paying for the quality. And i can imagine it will wear well even after being exposed to chlorine and the sun!

REVIEW - Olives from OLOVES

Olives, you either love them or hate them, but for me they are one of my favorites! One of those things you look forward to visiting an Italian for! 

So when I was sent these I couldn't wait to crack them open, but 8am didn't really seem an appropriate time! 

So brunch time arrived and where as I would normally reach for the junk food cupboard I opened a pack of lemon and rosemary olives . Each pack is individually sealed and contain around 10 olives, these were gone within minutes! They tasted amazing, can never say I've tried this flavor before but they were tasty!

Next I popped open the chili and oregano packet, again tasty but a little bit too much chili for me, I am not a lover of tangy things but I did still manage to eat the whole pack!

There are also 2 other flavours to try, basil and garlic and chili and garlic!

These little pouches are great for on the go, and at only 50 calories a pack they are a great healthy snack! They are also pitted for you, so no messing around removing the stones from the middle!

They are also gluten free, low in fat and suitable for vegans! So everyone will be able to enjoy them!

REVIEW - Lizis Granola

This is my first proper review for my blog and this was a perfect one! I am a busy mummy of two young children, and breakfast is always the last thing on my mind. By the time my little boy has his breakfast and I have fed my 3 month old I never get around to having breakfast!

So when I was sent these, I have never thought about having 'on the go' cereals. No Bowl, No Box and you dont even need a spoon. (who doesnt mind less washing up!)

I was given 3 flavours to try. Belgian chocolate, treacle and pecan, and original.

And I bet you cant guess which one I went for first....thats right the Belgian chocolate

The granola comes in foil pouches, which i guess keeps them fresher for longer, and the plastic fold up spoon is stuck on the bottom. The pouch is very easy to open, no scissors needed and you dont even need to pour it into a bowl.

The instructions said to add 3 teaspoons of water to the granola, but I didnt find this enough so i added another couple and gave it a mix. This then mixes with the lactose free milk powder and you have instant milk!! How great is that!

After a quick mix you are left with a gorgeous crunchy, tasty breakfast. Which I stood up eating in the kitchen while my little boy was eating his breakfast! There is only 30g in one pouch, which I know health experts say is the average breakfast serving but I didnt find that to be enough. I could have quite easily eaten another packet (or two!!)

But the easiest bit is then just throwing the packet and spoon into the bin and then carrying on your day! Lazy I know, but I can imagine if you were on the way to work, say on a train or sat at a desk these would be great!

So overall I was very impressed with the granolas, and cant wait to try the other flavours.

My Haier Amercian fridge freezer

A few months ago, i was very lucky to review a brand new american fridge freezer.

i had to upload a video to AO.com facebook page https://www.facebook.com/AOLetsGo reviewing an item already in my home, i reviewed my tiny fridge freezer which we struggled to live with and i was selected!!!

And by the weekend, i had a gorgeous haier american fridge freezer delievered worth over £1000

never in a million years could i afford one of these, we had only just moved into our brand new home and we had a perfect place for it!

after turning it on and using it for a few days, i filmed my review and wrote a review on their website,

Here is my review.  

“i received the fridge on saturday and i can say i absolutely love it!

i wouldnt normally choose a coloured fridge but the colour red on this fridge is very eye catching and i love the metallic colour.

the doors are very sturdy and well made, but the handles took a very long time to attach after delivery

the fridge – the top shelf is taken up by the big light, but the rest of the shelves are spacious and sturdy. the shelves in the door are great, can easily store 4 pints of milk with cartons, and other things! the salad drawers in the bottom are nice and deep but was a little disappointed that the bottom one was only half a drawer.

the freezer – slightly smaller than the fridge, the top shelf is taken up with ice maker, but plenty of room on the other shelves. the door shelves are great as you can store boxes of food and love that they tilt, as you don’t have to struggle to get things in and out.

the front – the water and ice dispenser is brilliant, i love having cold water on tap, and the ice is an excellent function. easy to use, and you can choose between ice cubes or crushed ice.

when the fridge makes the ice cubes it can be quite noisy, but we soon got used to this, you just hear the freezer power up to produce the ice a few times a day

the control panel on the front is very simple, the temperature can be adjusted easily, and can be locked, great if you have small toddler hands in the house!

overall the fridge freezer is a very trendy, spacious family fridge with the extra benefit of water and ice on tap (but be warned does need plumbing in, so will need to be near a pipe) i wouldnt have gone for the ‘haier’ brand but i have been very impressed with the build quality.”

Well where do i start!

Let me introduce myself

Im Claire, Im 27 and have 2 gorgeous children, Charlie who is 3 and Ella who is 3 months!

Since having my children, i have come to realise how powerful the internet is.

I spend most of my quiet time (when charlie is at pre school, and ella is napping) on the internet reading other peoples blogs, of which some are so inspiring, heartwarming and some make you stop and think how lucky you are.

I have spent alot of time reviewing products for websites such as buzz agent https://www.bzzagent.co.uk and i am a member of savvy circle http://circle.supersavvyme.co.uk/en/

I love trying new products and telling friends and family.

The past couple of weeks i have realised that when i have reviewed these products and after the campaigns are closed, you dont hear any more about them, so heres my blog! i plan to review, share and love!
